Still Life Paint and Sketch in Sparks

City of Sparks and Sparks Museum are partnering with Arts for All for all ages (8+ recommended) and abilities for “Still Life” drawing and painting classes on Thursdays during the 39 North Marketplace.  At this informal class, you will learn how to draw a bowl of fruit as a classic still life. Andy Warhol was made famous with one banana. Where will food take your creative spirit? Free– All Materials are included. Register here for Event.

Modern Dance. Body movement with free flow. The very popular Artown “Discover the Arts” Project expands to Sparks. The class, Presentation – Break – Hands-On Work, is an hour-long program taught weekly in Spanish and English. Each week will showcase a different discipline: visual arts, drama, music and spoken word for kids ages 6 - 12. The program is also sponsored by Northern Nevada Dairymen, which treats the participants with free ice cream and treats.

Starting Friday May 25th, June 29th, July 27th and August 24th the City of Sparks will play movies in the amphitheater and the Sparks Museum will offer options to view the Museum Cultural Exhibits, Train tours and visiting the Glendale School house. Sierra Watercolor Society Exhibit through September
