A chartered bus will take passengers on this Fred Horlacher tour through Nevada with an overnight in Eureka. Orientation prior to the trip will be held at the museum on Thursday, May 18 at 7 p.m. The bus leaves promptly at 6 a.m. Friday, May 19 and will return around 7 p.m. Saturday, May 20.
Horlacher is a retired Nevada history teacher whose career is filled with accolades including the prestigious Milliken Outstanding Teacher Award and both Washoe County’s and Nevada’s Teacher of the Year Awards. His vivid storytelling brings history alive for people of all ages and his bus tours provide a unique experience for history lovers.

Tickets include a shared double queen room at the Gold Country Inn in Eureka, water and snacks, and a continental breakfast Saturday. Bring a bag lunch for Friday. Passengers are responsible for their dinner Friday and lunch Saturday at restaurants in Eureka.
Tickets cost $250 for members, or $275 for non-members. This event is a fundraiser for the Sparks Museum, and your ticket purchase helps the museum continue its mission to protect the cultural heritage of Sparks.
